![]() He might post it again after reading this thread, or I will search for it later. I believe Brushman had a link to a site a few weeks ago that had some really handy features. Hold down Shift and drag with the middle mouse button. In an active drawing, you do not need to hold down Ctrl. Hold down Ctrl and drag with the middle mouse button. I want the double click zoom all or zoom extents turned OFF from the middle wheel mouse button. To rotate about a vertex, edge, or face: Middle-click a vertex, edge, or face then middle-drag the pointer. Also for the older versions there are some really handy plug in tools that may include this function if it isn't already built in. 06-23-2014 10:04 AM Middle Wheel Mouse Button Alright this needs to be fixed pronto. I am not sure if there is a setting that allows you to "Center on Zoom" in earlier versions (v11 and back), but it might be worth looking itno to see what is available. This also almost eliminates the need to pan or scroll around the screen as you can put the mouse on any part of the page as you zoom in. So if you zoom out enough to see the overall effect, then zoom back in for node adjustment or something else, as you move your mouse around the screen, the new zoom location centers on your mouse. As the zoom tool recenters on the position of your mouse. You might find that zooming is easier to move around the doucment (at least on X3). Adobe is missing this - ever try to zoom in and out on Adobe? - it is a two handed operation. Honestly, I have a hard time imaging trying to use it the other way - once you get the hang of it - I believe it is one of the most functional implementations that Corel has. RE: Change the Scroll Wheel to Scroll instead of Zoom pdcweb (IS/IT-Management) I didn't immediately see the option for assigning the middle wheel button - but it may require a quick programing shortcut to be entered to recognize text as a mouse funtion - I am not entirely sure (i.e ALT + F7, or some other Shift + Function key or something similar). The "Pan" function is under the View category. There is now a drop down menu in the top right corner of that screen that allows you to change different behavior categories (File, Tools, View, etc), and each action can have a short cut key. I can't recall if v9 had these settings or not. Lastly, you might try under Draw's options (Tools > Options > Customization > Commands) to change some of the default behaviors for certain functions. One caveat, this could change the way other programs behave with the middle mouse button. My guess is Corel was reading the old action performed by the mouse wheel differently then it is reading the new action (duh - obviously) so you may even have to explore Logitechs website, and see if you can find the driver update lists, and see which version the old middle wheel function changed to the new function. You may have to change it to "middle button" or there may even be a choice for "zoom". I believe the default selection is "Universal scroll". You may have to play around with a few different options before you find the correct choice. Chances are it was being used as a different function. Some of Logitechs drivers have an option in the Control Panel > Mouse that changes the behavior of the middle mouse wheel.
